Rue des Archives is a French photo agency which works with professional
picture buyers for magazines, books, internet and television.
The core of our agency is the AGIP picture agency, founded in
1936 in Paris. On top of the 3,000,000 pictures from AGIP we
feature specialty photographers which include Gerald Bloncourt
(political and humanitarian images), Michel Sima (artists & workshops),
René Saint Paul (photojournalism), Raymond Cauchetier
(film sets and world travel) Georges Pierre (film sets), Jean
Dieuzaide (liberation 1945) etc. We also represent major image
sources in France such as CineStreet (French movie archives),
and Tallandier, (an archive with 100 years of historical photos
and illustrations),.
Within the French territory we distribute
several major world sources. These include Mary Evans Picture
Library, The Granger
Collection NYC, The Everett Collection, Snap Photo, Suddeutsche
Zeitung from Munich, Lebrecht Music & Arts from London, Hollandse
Hoogte – Transworld etc. |
